HISTORIA DE LA IGLESIA

Como parte de un movimiento evangelista cristiano con sus raíces fundadas en el país de Guatemala alrededor de 1960 con el Apóstol Ottoniel Ríos Paredes. La visión era expandir el evangelio de Jesucristo por todo el mundo. En 1992 un grupo de personas, aproximadamente 7 comenzaron a tener pequeñas reuniones de estudio bíblico.  Por algún tiempo tuvieron ancianos, líderes y algunos pastores de visita. En 1995 la iglesia fue reconocida legalmente, y en 1997, el Pastor Milton Méndez fue delegado de parte del Apóstol Ottoniel Ríos Paredes a la iglesia Ministerios Elim en Nueva Jersey. Actualmente están trabajando bajo la cobertura del Apóstol Fernando Ortiz de Elim Santo Domingo.

La congregación ha crecido no sólo en número sino en personas que han sido transformadas por el poder de Dios. Algunos llegaron con situaciones muy difíciles de alcohol, drogas, familias desintegradas pero ahora disfrutan de una nueva vida en el Señor. 

CHURCH HISTORY

As part of a Christian evangelistic movement with its roots founded in the country of Guatemala around 1960 under the Apóstol Ottoniel Ríos Paredes, the vision was to expand the gospel of Jesus Christ through out the world.  In 1992 a group of people of about 7 started gathering in bible studies in New Jersey . For some time they had church elders and leaders and some visiting pastors minister to them. In 1995 the church was recognize as a non-profit organization and in 1997 Pastor Milton Mendez became an establish minister of the church of Elim Ministries in New Jersey. Currently the church is working under  Apostle Fernando Ortiz from Elim Ministries of Dominican Republic.

The congregation has grown not only in number but also extended to the needs of the people that form the church. Many lives have changed, some coming from very difficult and addicting situations to a new way of living, becoming well respect individuals in church but even more so with their love ones and in their community.

CREEMOS que Dios por medio de su obra de amor al enviar a Jesucristo su hijo como redención de nuestras almas, fuimos trasladados de un reino de tinieblas lleno de duda, temor, odio y pecado al Reino de su Hijo Amado lleno de amor, justicia y gozo.
CREEMOS en la conversión de una vana manera de vivir al servicio de nuestro Dios vivo y verdadero.
CREEMOS en la bienaventuranza del Padre de enviar al hijo otra vez de los cielos, al cual resucitó de entre los muertos, Jesús quien nos libra de la ira venidera.
CREEMOS en un llamamiento a una vida Santa.
CREEMOS en una gloriosa herencia destinada a aquellos que se rindan a su propósito.
CREEMOS en la extraordinaria grandeza del mover del Espíritu Santo con sus dones y carismas en favor de aquellos que creen en El.
CREEMOS en una alabanza y adoración festiva por medio de cantar salmos, himnos y cánticos espontáneos del Espíritu.
CREEMOS que la Santa Escritura es inspirada por Dios, para aprenderla, guardarla, vivirla y enseñarla para hacer al hombre de Dios apto para toda buena obra.
CREEMOS en el Amor del Padre, en la Gracia de Nuestro Señor Jesucristo y en la maravillosa comunión del Espíritu Santo.
CREEMOS en la consumación de todas las cosas que incluye: El regreso de Jesucristo el cual esperamos, la resurrección de los muertos en Cristo, la transformación de los que estemos vivos (el arrebatamiento), la manifestación visible de Cristo en la tierra donde todo ojo le verá, el juicio de los injustos y el cumplimiento del reinado de Cristo en los cielos nuevos y tierra nueva.
CREEMOS en un solo Dios, el Creador de todas las cosas, infinitamente perfecto y eternamente existente en tres Personas: El Padre, El Hijo, y El Espíritu Santo.

Nuestro Objetivo

Es alcanzar a la gente de todos los trasfondos y raza, para que ellos puedan conocer la gracia verdadera de Dios a través de Jesucristo con honestidad e integridad.

OUR STATEMENT OF FAITH

•    We believe that God by means of its work of love when sending Jesus Christ his son as a redemption of our souls, we are transferred from a kingdom of darkness, fear hatred and sin to the kingdom of its beloved Son full of love, justice and joy.
•    We believe in the conversion of an empty way of living to the fullness of serving our true Lord God.
•    We believe in the security of the heavenly Father that send his only begotten son from heaven, and when his son Jesus was crucified for our sins and resurrected from the dead on the third day, He delivered us from the coming wrath.
•    We believe that we are called to live a holy life.
•    We believe in a glorious inheritance destined for those that surrender their lives to his purpose.
•    We believe in the extraordinary greatness of the Holy Spirit with its gifts and charismas in favor of those who believe in him.
•    We believe in a praise and joyful worship by singing psalms, hymns and spontaneous songs of the Holy Spirit.
•    We believe that the Holy Scripture is inspired by God, to learn from it, to retain it, to live and to teach it and to become women and mans of God capable for all good deeds.
•    We believe in the love of the Father, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ and in the wonderful communion of the Holy Spirit.
•    We believe in the consummation of all the things which are: the return of Jesus Christ which we wait upon, the resurrection of the dead in Christ, the transformation for those that are living (repentance), the visible manifestation of Christ on earth where all eye will see him, the judgment for the unjust and of the reign of Christ in the new heaven and earth.
•    We believe in a single God, The creator of all things, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three manifestations: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Our Goal

Is to reach people of all backgrounds and race, so they may know the true grace of God through Jesus Christ with honesty and integrity. 

QUIENES SOMOS

Creemos y confiamos en la maravillosa manifestación del amor de Dios, en la hermosa gracia de nuestro Señor Jesucristo y en la dulce y poderosa comunión del Espíritu Santo.

Entendemos que no estamos exentos de las desafiantes adversidades que la vida puede traer, pero Dios nos ha provisto poderosos recursos a nuestro favor, Su palabra infalible y al Espíritu Santo.

Sabemos que Dios sigue hablando por su palabra y cuando él lo hace, nuestros corazones arden en adoración a nuestro único Dios vivo y verdadero.

Who We Are

We believe and trust in the wonderful manifestation of the love of God, in the beautiful grace of our Lord Jesus Christ and in the sweet and powerful relationship of the Holy Spirit.

We understand that we are not exempt of challenging adversities that life may bring, but God has provided us with powerful resources to our favor, His infallible word and the Holy Spirit.

We acknowledge that God continues speaking through his word and when he does, our hearts render with worship to our only true God.
